DsBox in the exercise "Distributed Systems"

  1. Purpose of data collection: The data you provide in this survey will be used to evaluate and improve the quality of the DsBox software. This includes adapting the teaching material to the needs of students. It also serves Felix Breitweiser's doctoral research project.
  2. Type of data: We collect information about your expectations of, and experience with, the software. Personal data such as your name or email address is not collected.
  3. Voluntary participation: Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw at any time without giving a reason. Non-participation will not have any negative impact on your use of the platform or your academic performance.
  4. Confidentiality: All responses will be treated confidentially and evaluated only in aggregate form. Pseudonyms and aggregated data will be published in publications in such a way that no conclusions can be drawn about individual students. Individual responses will not be passed on to third parties or used for purposes other than those specified. We use the servers of the University of Siegen for storage.
  5. Access and correction: You have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you and to correct it if it is incorrect.
